— FROM SÃO PAULO TO ATHENS

The first step is flying from São Paulo (GRU) to Athens (ATH), the capital of Greece.
 

The main airlines operating this route (with layovers) are:

​IMPORTANT TIPS:

1. Tickets are usually released about 11 months in advance. To secure the best prices and flight times, we recommend booking as early as possible.

2. Consider spending at least 1 night in Athens. Besides resting after the long journey, you’ll also have the chance to visit the city’s highlights, such as the Acropolis, early the next morning.

 

3. Keep essential and valuable items in your carry-on — especially outfits for the first days and your wedding looks. At this time of year, and depending on your layover destination (hello, Italy!), it’s not unusual for checked luggage to be delayed. We also recommend using AirTags (or similar devices) to track your bags more safely.

— FROM ATHENS TO PAROS

There are two main ways to get from Athens to Paros:

BY AIR
The fastest way to reach Antiparos is by flying to the neighboring island of Paros (PAS). The flight takes about 30–40 minutes. Airlines operating this route include:

BY FERRY
For those who prefer a more scenic route, you can also take a ferry from Athens (Piraeus Port) to Paros, with an average travel time of 3–4 hours. The main ferry companies are:

IMPORTANT TIPS:

1) Tickets for this route are usually released 6–9 months in advance. To secure the best schedules and prices, we recommend booking early.

 

2) If you choose the ferry, we suggest using Ferryscanner.com to book in advance. Departures leave from the ports of Piraeus or Rafina, and the journey can take from approximately 2h30 to 5h, depending on the type of ferry (conventional or high-speed).

— FROM PAROS TO ANTIPAROS

Upon landing in Paros, we recommend renting a car or booking a transfer to reach the port of Pounta (about a 10-minute drive). From there, board the local ferry to Antiparos — a short 5-minute crossing, with frequent departures throughout the day (every 20–30 minutes).

 

The ticket costs €1.50 per person and can be paid directly onboard, by cash or card.

For example, the ferry ride from Mykonos to Paros takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour 20 minutes. From Naxos, the trip is about 1 hour. From Santorini to Paros, travel time can vary between 1 hour 25 minutes and 3 hours 45 minutes, depending on the vessel and weather conditions.
